ENVIRONMENT

We at VODI Accessories are very aware of the environmental issues that we are facing in the world with regards to climate change and the threat to biodiversity.  We are continuously working towards becoming more eco-friendly. 

Summary of where we are today

At present the majority of our packaging and products are recyclable / reusable / biodegradable with the goal of being 100%.  As a new company we are continuously discovering new environment conscious manufacturers and learning more about eco-friendly materials.  As this happens, we are gradually phasing out the materials, such as single use plastic and replacing them with eco-friendly alternatives in view of not compromising the quality and care of our products.

Our Products

We make some of our products available in digital form as a means to reduce the amount of emission used in producing and delivering our products. Customers can print the digital product as and when they need to use it, therefore, reducing waste. However, we recognise that not everybody has access to a printer at home or they prefer to write on paper rather than on a screen, and so we will continue to provide paper versions of some of our products.  We do hope in the future to regularly contribute to an environment organisation that are involved in planting trees, and will continue to do research to find the best fit for our company for when it is affordable. 

Our goal is to source all of our products from the United Kingdom.  However, at times, we may purchase from elsewhere if there are no suitable and accessible options domestically.  

Reusable & Recyclable packaging

Every product we package is wrapped in a way for our customers to experience the feeling of receiving a gift.  We purposefully do not use tape to hold together the wrapping paper, but use twine so that if the product was bought to be gifted to someone else, the packaging can be reused to re-wrap a VODI Accessories product only. From time to time, we may reuse boxes that have been sent to us from an order we have purchased, as a method to reduce waste and our carbon footprint.  We will only reuse boxes that are in good condition. 

At present, the majority of our packaging are either recyclable, reusable or biodegradable, and we aim to make this all in the near future, as we learn more about the options available, and as we grow as a business.
